On Stage Display Board stampers post

Hi stampers!

Today I have a selection of cards and projects I have made in the past in order to be considered for Display Board stamper for On Stage event this fall.
Since one of the On Stage local events will be in Atlanta, you bet I will be there. So here's my selection of projects. Seat back and enjoy ;)

Again, thank you Stampin' Up! for the consideration:)

Happy Birthday - Skipping Stones Blog Hop

Hi Stampers,

It's that time of the month (the last Friday) when we have our Skipping Stones Design Stamp and Share challenge. This month the challenge is to use 4 embellishments, and I used 4 sequins (of course, because everything is better with sequins).
I used some Distress inks to create the background and acrylic paint for the white splaters, then I used Dandelion Dreams and Beautiful Botanicals to stamp the images with Versagine onyx black ink and my MISTI so I have a good coverage on the watercolor paper (I stamped each image about 4 times) and then embossed with clear embossing powder.

For the technique for the video for the watercolor background see this post (I just used distress inks instead of the papertrey inks I am showing in the video)

DIY San Francisco tile coasters

Hi Stampers!
I have a little different post for you today, I mean still crafty, but it's not a card. I was working on a project the other day and had these tiles sitting on my desk when I realized that the new destination wood mount stamps from Hero Arts are perfect for making tile coasters, so I got to work. They are quick and easy to make. Now I need to go buy more tiles and more destination stamps as I am addicted.
First I washed the tiles to remove the dust and completely dried them first with paper towels than with my heat tool. Next I stamped the images using Versafine ink (black) and then embossed one of them with clear embossing powder and the other one with gold. If you want more subtle images go with the gold, if you want bold, go with the clear (i.e. black)

Life is better with a friend

Hi Stampers!
Happy Hump Day! And today is time for another challenge over at The Card Concept blog. I just loved the inspiration piece for this week. The colors are just lovely, so I was inspired by them to create my card. I stayed away from the flower theme and went with sea shells. I love the ocean and the sea, so sea shells was the way to go. The stamp set I used is one of the sets from the new release from Papertrey ink, and the sentiment is from Reverse Confetti. The gold frame is a Cover plate from Papertrey ink. And of course, i was able to perfectly layer my images using my MISTI tool ;)

Head to The Card Concept Blog to see more inspiration and enter the challenge.
I have a video that I will be posting later tonight.
