Skipping Stones Designs Challenge - Joy

Hello Stampers and Happy Friday!
I could not be more excited to share the Skipping Stones designs first challenge with you! The challenges will be the last Friday of every month and will run for a week. The challenges will be sketches, colors, inspiration, and themes; whatever strikes our fancy! One random person will win a Skipping Stones Design stamp set (you need to post your creation on the Skipping Stones designs blog) of their choice and each of the design team members will be sharing their favorite card for the week. Skipping Stones Design Stamps are not required, but highly encouraged. This month's challenge will end on Friday, September 4 at 5:00PM EST. If you are on social media sites use #skippingstonesdesign and #stampandshare and if you upload to Splitcoaststampers use the keywords ssd and skippingstonesdesign
This month's challenge is Christmas theme. And for my card I used one of the new stamp sets released earlier this month called Joy. I stamped my images and sentiments with versamark on white cardstock and embossed them with gold embossing powder. Then die cut the bottom and mounted it on white card base and added some gold foil card stock on the bottom and some gold sequins.

Hibiscus Thanks

Hi Stampers!
It's almost Friday! Yay! Which reminds me that tomorrow is the Skipping Stones Design
Make sure you check the Skipping Stones Designs blog tomorrow to see all the creations and participate in the challenge! I will be posting my card here, too.

Now onto today's card. This was my very first image that I colored using the no line coloring technique. I used the Hibiscus stamp set from Waffle flower, and then just cut it out, since I didn't have the dies.
The sentiment is from Paper Smooches!

Fanciful fall

Hi stampers!
Happy Wednesday! I am back today with another card for you. This time I used one of the Paper Smooches stamp sets called Fanciful fall and again I did some no line coloring with my Copic Markers. I am really enjoying this type of coloring. After I colored the little owl, I cut it out.
I then sponged/blended piece of my white panel using some of the Simon Says Stamp ink pads :Hot Mama, Hollyhock and Apricot. Then I stamped the sentiment (again from Paper Smooches), added some dots with my white jelly roll pen ( I LOVE these pens) and adhered the owl. Then mounted the panel onto white card base.

Potted

Hi Stampers!
Happy Monday!
Hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was good. Spend time with the kids and cleaning up my craft area. I still need to empty my studio and convert it into a baby room. But there is never enough time in the day for everything I want to do.
Anyway... Today I have a card to share with you. I used a new set I won as blog candy from Waffle Flower and it's called Potted. It's perfect for coloring.
I stamped the image using Versamark ink on watercolor paper and embossed it in white. Then colored it with my Kuretake watercolors. AFter that I stamped sentiment from Paper Smooches set (I can't remember the name at the moment) and die cut the panel. Added some sequins and then adhered it to Crumb Cake card base.

Christmas cuties

Hi Stampers!

I am back with a simple creation. The week flew by and I had no time to edit my photos. But I did some editing today, so will be posting more next week.
I made this card last night. Couple days I tried my hand in no line coloring and it's addicting. I used the new Christmas Cuties set from the Holiday catalog from Stampin' up!
Hope you're inspired :)

However, I have a card up on the Chameleon Blog today. Head on there to see the full creation and the list of supplies and instructions.

Lili of the Valley - Christmas shopping and Holiday catalog sneak peek (SU!)

HI stampers!
Happy Friday!
I can't believe it is finally Friday! This week has been so crazy with sick kids. I am so grateful that my mom came on Monday night and the girls are staying home with her. And only Jason is at daycare.

Today I have 2 cards for you using the new released Christmas Shopping stamp from Lili of the Valley. I stamped the images using the brand new Black Archival ink by Stampin' Up! (it will be availabe for purchase next month) on some watercolor paper, and then using my distress inks I colored the images and then die cut them, the dsp on both cards and all the embellishments are from the new Stampin' Up! Holiday mini and will be available for purchase in September.

Made with Love

Hi stampers!

I haven't posted in a week. Things got crazy at home. Last Tuesday I had to pick up Anna from daycare as she was throwing up. Apparently she caught a stomach bug. I thought she was on the mend by the end of the day, and then at 11pm she started throwing up again. Poor kid. Then on Saturday she was throwing up some more, and yet again yesterday. Then Milena was throwing up on Sunday and yesterday, and Jason got a cold or something. So....that was my life the past week, oh, as well I had to work :)
And yesterday my little girl (Milena) turned 2, because of the stomach bug we didn't celebrate much and we still have her Hello Kitty ice cream cake in the freezer. Hopefully they'll enjoy it this weekend. Thanks goodness my mom came on Monday night, so she's today home with the girls while Jason is at daycare.

Now, onto the cards. I have 2 cards for you today using the new Made with Love stamp set and the Sweet Lil' things dsp. I kept the same layout for both cards, just changed the images and the dsp.
Hope you like them!

This is post #2 for today, so scroll down for the post about Chameleon and Waffle Flower blog hop.
