Sweet girl and Online New Catalog Launch Party- save the date - June 7th

Hi all,

And Happy Wednesday...oh wait it's Thursday. My week is all messed up as Monday was a holiday.

Anyway....glad it's Thursday.
Today I have a simple card using the Baby we've grown set from the Occasions Mini catalog. Did you know this set will appear in the new annual catalog, too?
I thought this little girls shoes were so cute. So I stamped them on watercolor paper and then colored them using my ink pads and aqua painter, then cut them out using the chalk talk framelits.
The base of the card is Very Vanilla and the panel, too (I added the panel to provide extra strength to the card, as the Very vanilla card stock, as well the Whisper white one are thinner).
To embellish the card I added some Blushing bride candy dots and chevron ribbon.

And as I mentioned, new catalog. I am doing something different this year. I am doing an online New Catalog Launch party. The event is free and you can register bellow. (see at the bottom of this post).
When you register I will send you an invite to the blog where the launch will happen. The date is June 7th (7-10pm). I will post few videos showing you items from the new catalog and we'll make few projects. As well there will be give aways.
You need to register in order to get invite to the website, this way if you win one of the give aways I can contact you :)

Simple day

Hi all,
Happy Wednesday!
Today I have a smile card to share. I used the Starburst Sayings stamp set and coordinating framelits along with some Retro Fresh dsp. I just love the colors in the dsp! They are so FRESH :) and fun.
I stamped the image on Very Vanilla card stock and die cut it using the coordinating framelits. Then I made my card base from Baked Brown Sugar card stock and adhered a layer ( 4 1/8" x 5 3/8") Retro Fresh dsp, tied some twine, popped the image with dimensionals and adhered some Candy Dots and Voila. :) Quick and Easy card.

note: today I posted the part #4 from my Online Color My World Class

Little gnome

Happy Tuesday!
I hope you all had a great and enjoyable weekend. Ours was little crazy, but it's nothing to be surprised with. Today is back to work day and getting back to the daily grind.
And today I have another card using a retired set called "Gnobly Gnomes" . I stamped the image on hot press watercolor paper and then colored it. I LOVE how it came out.
The colors are :Pear Pizzazz and Bermuda bay, I never thought of using those two colors together, but I like the look. The Pear Pizzazz layer is embossed using the Alphabet Press embossing folder which I thought it was appropriate given that the little gnome is reading a book. Or maybe he's pretending to be doing so ;)

Sending Good Thoughts

Hi all,

I didn't fall off the face of the earth. I was sick at the beginning of the week and then had some catching up to do, and then as well start creating for the Convention Display boards. But things are settling down again and I will be resuming with regular posting.
Here's a simple card that I made using retired set.that I forget the name of. It's pretty old, as well the sentiment is from Too Kind stamp set. The image is stamped with Memento ink on Crumb Cake card stock and colored with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. The panel is cut with Lil' Inkers designs die and the twine is from May Arts Ribbons.

Celebrate You

Hi everyone!

Today it's another day. I am staying again at home, but today I am working from home. I feel little better but my head is still stuffy and my voice is gone. So as soon as I get my voice back I will be recording the video for Color my world class. In the part #3 we'll be focusing on watercoloring using markers, ink pads and re-inkers as well couple different types of watercolor paper.

For today, I don't have a sneak peek (besides the Blendabilities), but I am sharing a card that I made with the new photoplymer set called "Endless Birthday wishes". The second card's image is not SU!, it's a digital stamp from Saturated Canary that I colored little while ago and I just used it to make a simple card. I stamped the sentiment from Endless Birthday Wishes and quick and easy card. I feel like colored images are best on Clean and Simple cards.

Project Life meets Traditional Scrapbooking

                                                   TEA AND COFFEE POT CARDS

Happy Monday!
Today I am at home, I got this terrible head cold that is making me miserable. Hopefully it'll go away soon and tomorrow I will be back to work. As well I wasn't able to do the video for the Color My World class, I am hoping I will feel better and post it tonight.
In meantime I am leaving you with a scrapbook page I created using one of my daughter's pictures. Before I left for Texas I took her out to Starbucks for cake pop and chocolate milk at my lunch break. We had some fun and I was able to snap some fun pictures of her. I just had to make a page using this one. I used couple of the cards from the Project Life kit and the stamp set. Besides that I used Gorgeous Grunge and Dictionary sets. The Dictionary set is used on the butterflies. As well I added some sequins from the Gold Sequin trim. I think I really like how it came out!

Blast Off Art - Creation Station Blog Hop

Hi all and welcome back to another round of Creation Station Blog Hop. This week we are showcasing the set Work of Art that will be available for purchase (if you are not a demonstrator) on June 2nd, as well as the retiring set Blast Off.
I made couple cards and I stamped on Muslin bag.
For the first card I combined together three sets: Work of Art, Gorgeous Grunge and the litttle heart is from another sneak peek set called "Something to Say", beside the new set I am showcasing some of the new in-colors. I used : Hello Honey, Blackberry Bliss and Tangelo twist.

Next is the muslin bag, I stamped directly on it using the Work of Art set, and then I made tag using the Chalk Talk framelits and stamped it.

And last but not least is the card in which I combined the two sets we are featuring this week.
I think it came out fun! As well the stars are from "Point and click" project life set.

So, that is all I have for you today. Next check Kathy's blog and her wonderful creations.

And if you just stumbled upon this post and would like to start the hop from the very beginning, click on the back button to go to Jen's blog, you wouldn't want to miss her creations.

                                                   TEA AND COFFEE POT CARDS

Hi all,
I was going to say Happy Wednesday, but I realized it's already Thursday...yay!
As I promised yesterday I today I am sharing the samples from Color My World class, and yes I am still working on the instruction sheets.  I promise they are coming!

For the samples I used again the new sneak peek stamps, ribbon and in-colors. For the first card I used my Prismacolor Pencils to color the image . The image is from the sneak peek hostess set Bloom with hope. I stamped the background with the Dictionary background stamp and used the new in colors: Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow.

For the second card I used my  Caran D'ache Luminance Pencils   and used Blended Bloom stamp from the new catalog sneak peek, as well Something to Say for the sentiment. Along the sneak peek stamps I used the new In Color Hello Honey card stock and ribbon. I just love the new in color ribbons, they are so pliable and easy to work with.

Hi all,
I still owe you the sampled from the 2nd part of Color my world class. If you have registered for the class, they are posted on the class blog together with the videos of the coloring techniques. If not you will see the samples tomorrow.

For today I have two cards I made using the new Blendabilities markers. I colored these images while waiting for my flight to Atlanta last Friday. I had quite few hours at the airport as my flight was delayed.

There are bunch of sneak peek items on the samples. First off: NEW IN COLORS!!!! I love the new In Colors! They are fall colors and just plain yummy. The first card uses Hello Honey card stock and ribbon. As well two new sets: Blended Bloom and Something to Say. The flower is colored using the Daffodil delight and Skin tones collections Blendabilities
The second card uses Tangelo Twist and Mossy Meadow card stock and Mossy Meadow ribbon. As well a new Hostess set called "I like you". The image is colored using Pumpkin Pie, Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive collections of Blendabilities and the image is die cut using the Project Life framelits (the 3"x4" one), and the background is stamped with the circle from the Geometrical set using Versamark ink pad (it's hard to see on the pictures)

I am still catching up with the instructions sheets, so I will post those later.

Catching Up With Instruction Sheets

                                                       TEA AND COFFEE POT CARDS

Hi all,
Sorry for the silence. I made it home at 1am on Friday night. My flight from Dallas was delayed for about 2hrs and then we has not so pleasant flight. There was storm system moving across, so the flight was pretty bumpy. And then I got home to a sick baby who cried all night, and then didn't really sleep the following couple nights. Last night finally was able to get few hours of uninterrupted sleep. So, you can imagine I am pretty exhausted and I am back in the office.
Anyway, as things are settling down I am trying to catch up on all of the instruction sheets.
So I will be posting them here as I am finishing them.
Tonight I will combine all instruction sheets for April and part of May and post a link to downloadable PDF, so you have them all in one place.

As well, if you have signed up for my Color My World Class, the 2nd part was posted last night (the videos), the samples will be posted tonight. The 2nd part is about coloring with wax based pencils such as Prismacolor, as well blending techniques.
If you are signed up for this class follow this link to the post. The class website will be open for at least 1 year so you can register any time.
